AIUTA participates to the First Urban Forum on « Modern Cities for Senior Citizens» organised by EURASIA Forum, wich took place in Ufa, Russian Federation, Republic of Bashkortostan, on June 30, 2020. Prof François Vellas, AIUTA President in cooperation with Maria Chester, AIUTA Secretary General, spoke on AIUTA contribution to develop U3As in urban areas and on AIUTA initiative with WSTC to organise a world competition for U3As seniors during this time of Covid19 pandemic. Successful cases of Moscow Active Longevity project was discussed on how to provide assistance to elder citizens under lockdown for more than two months.
