Prof François Vellas, AIUTA President, had meeting with the U3A Australian Alliance committee in Rockhampton, Queensland Australia, May 10th. Glen Wall, Chair of U3A Australian Alliance and U3AAA committee members will present to Australian U3As the possibility to join AIUTA as affiliate member. 3 fields of cooperation with AIUTA were identified and discussed : Cooperation on educational programs innovation, Cooperation on sports and U3As and cooperation on AIUTA INSULA program dedicated to small islands U3As. Rhonda Weston, President U3A Toowoomba and AIUTA GB member will do the link with Australian U3As and will inform U3As in Australia to participate directly to AIUTA programs and international exchanges.
