Prof François Vellas, AIUTA President and Professor Ricardo Pocinho, Leira Polytechnic University and President ANGES National association of gerontology Portugal with Mayor of Pombal, Pedro Pimpao and municipality conseillers inaugurate AIUTA Academy office, September 25th, 2023 with participation of senior students and choral from Pombal U3A. AIUTA Academy will be located on the next two years in Pombal U3A with scientific and technical support from ANGES and University Polytechnics of Leira. AIUTA Academy will develop research and training programs dedicated to U3As and will host next AIUTA EGB annual meeting next January 15th, 2023.
