The AIUTA delegation, composed of representatives from Kazakhstan and Slovakia, took part in the international seminar on Universities of the Third Age at Silkroad Tourism University on Monday, September 21st, 2025, thanks to the initiative of Ualikanov University of Kokshetau. A new cooperation on the development of Universities of the Third Age in Central Asia aims to bring together initiatives from different countries in the region. The AIUTA delegation was welcomed by the Vice-Rector of Samarkand Silkroad Tourism University, who will take part in the program on the Archaeological Silk Road and study tours for seniors. The delegates were also received by the Consul General of Kazakhstan in Samarkand, who will support all initiatives for the development of AIUTA Universities of the Third Age.
