At the initiative of Mohamed Kayal, member of the AIUTA Board of Directors and Deputy Treasurer, an international seminar was organized in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on November 11th, 2025, with the participation, for the first time, of representatives from Syria. In cooperation with Mohamed Kayal, a new AIUTA program will be launched to support the development of Universities of the Third Age in Syria, for the benefit of older adults and lifelong learning.
