H.E. the Vice President of the Republic of Mauritius, Robert Hungley, presided over the official certificate award ceremony for senior students together with the President of the University of the Third Age of Mauritius, Armoogum Parsuramen, former Minister of Education; the Director General of U3AM, Venise Lieutier Oodoomansaib; and Professor François Vellas, President of AIUTA, at the University of Mauritius. An artistic performance was presented by the U3AM social dance class, followed by a Chinese dance performed by Hua Lien, a Bhojpuri dance, and a Sega dance executed by members of U3AM during the ceremony. AIUTA extends its warmest congratulations to the new graduates, inviting them—alongside the leadership of the University of the Third Age of Mauritius—to take part in international cooperation initiatives with Universities of the Third Age in Africa, the Indian Ocean region, and across the world.
