AIUTA delegates, together with François Vellas, Montserrat Amoros, Carlos Santos, and Albert Evrard, participated in the international seminar dedicated to cooperation between Universities of the Third Age on the international program of the Route of the Holy Grail, at the invitation of Ana Mafé. The event took place at the Provincial Museum of the city of Teruel, in Spain’s Aragon region.
This event, attended by representatives from various Spanish regions including Aragon, Catalonia, Madrid, and Valencia, represents an example of cooperation between universities and senior students aimed at developing cultural exchanges, not only between European countries such as Spain, France, and Italy, but also with Middle Eastern countries. This is notably thanks to the participation of a delegation from the University of the Third Age AUT in Lebanon, including Ghada Sakr, President of AUT, and Marcel Hinain, Director of the University of the Third Age of AUT and members of the AIUTA Board of Directors.
AIUTA develops several cultural and scientific cooperation programs between Universities of the Third Age, including the Archaeological Silk Road project, whose next seminar will take place in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
