Professor François Vellas made a short stopover in Shanghai, China, to visit an elderly care center whose aim is to integrate lifelong learning and the Universities of the Third Age in connection with residential care homes. This visit to Shanghai, China, helped lay the foundations for international cooperation between the Universities of the Third Age of AIUTA and institutions providing care and accommodation for older people.
