Represented by its President, Ghada Hinain, and by Marcel Hinain, Director of the University of the Third Age, AUT (American University of Technology), located in Byblos, Lebanon, participated in the AIUTA Board of Directors meeting in Mola di Bari, as well as in the international conference held with FEDERUNI at the University of Bari. This participation is particularly significant at a time when the security situation remains extremely precarious throughout the Middle East. Together with AUT Lebanon, AIUTA will launch initiatives to strengthen the resilience of Universities of the Third Age facing the consequences of armed conflicts, in cooperation with AIUTA partners in the Gulf region, Egypt and Eastern Europe.
