UNITRA Benin and UNITRA Madinina Martinique, represented by Nicole Duchel, President, and Rudy Duchel, with the participation of Elisa Paulin from the University of the French West Indies, took part in the AIUTA Board of Directors meeting and International Conference, held in collaboration with FEDERUNI in Bari, Italy. The latest developments in the network of universities of the third age in Benin and Martinique were presented, along with international cooperation initiatives, particularly with Slovakia, and new projects in the field of gerontological cruises and new senior living villages in partnership with universities of the third age. This joint presence is intended to provide a foundation for strengthening AIUTA’s presence in both Africa and the Caribbean.
